Riyadh: King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC) has launched the first dedicated palliative care program for adolescents and young adults in the Arab world.
The program aims to enhance quality of life for young patients facing life-threatening illnesses, offering holistic support in pain management, mental health, and social care.
Delivered by a multidisciplinary team, it ensures culturally sensitive, evidence-based care. The initiative also earned triple accreditation, setting a regional benchmark for palliative services.
