Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL) will resume on May 17 after a brief pause, as confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
The first match will feature Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on May 17, with the final scheduled for June 3. The venues for the play-offs remain to be confirmed.
The tournament had been temporarily halted due to air raids following escalating tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack.
Gujarat Titans currently lead the table with 16 points, closely followed by RCB, also on 16 points.
Punjab Kings are third with 15 points, while Mumbai Indians (14), Delhi Capitals (13), Kolkata Knight Riders (11), and Lucknow SuperGiants (10) remain in contention.
However, three teams Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have already been eliminated from the playoff race.
The revised IPL 2025 schedule include May 17: RCB vs KKR, Bengaluru, May 18: RR vs PBKS, Jaipur, May 18: DC vs GT, Delhi, May 19: LSG vs SRH, Lucknow, May 20: CSK vs RR, Delhi, May 21: MI vs DC, Mumbai.
May 22: GT vs LSG, Ahmedabad, May 23: RCB vs SRH, Bengaluru, May 24: PBKS vs DC, Jaipur, May 25: GT vs CSK, Ahmedabad, May 25: SRH vs KKR, Delhi, May 26: PBKS vs MI, Jaipur, May 27: LSG vs RCB, Lucknow, May 29: Qualifier 1, TBC, May 30: Eliminator, TBC, June 1: Qualifier 2, TBC and June 3: Final, TBC.
