Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to strengthening economic, political, and cultural ties through a shared vision of strategic collaboration.
The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a warm welcome upon his arrival at Rahim Yar Khan Airport. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and other key officials were present to greet him.
During The Meeting, both leaders engaged in thoughtful discussions on vital issues, including economic collaboration, regional stability, climate change, and shared global interests, as highlighted by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Prime Minister Shehbaz - expressed deep admiration for the UAE’s visionary leadership and its instrumental support for Pakistan’s progress. He highlighted Pakistan’s enthusiasm for fostering deeper cooperation in renewable energy, technology, trade, infrastructure, and skill development.
In Response, President Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s strong commitment to enhancing ties with Pakistan, with a particular focus on exploring opportunities in mining, minerals, and agriculture, underscoring the shared ambition to strengthen their partnership.
