Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has strongly criticized the PTI founder, stating that expecting accommodation after targeting state institutions and defense installations, and pushing the country toward economic collapse, is nothing but living in a fool’s paradise.
In a statement, Khawaja Asif remarked that no political party in the past had ever attacked the country’s defense installations after being removed from power. He accused the PTI founder of launching attacks on martyrs' memorials and mocking defense institutions following his removal through a vote of no confidence.
He further emphasized that after making every possible attempt to destabilize the country, expecting any form of reconciliation or accommodation is unrealistic and naive.
