ARAFAT : The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) hosted the family of the late Infaly Djaneti, Guinea-Bissau’s representative to the coalition, for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, in a gesture of loyalty and gratitude.
Djaneti, who was responsible for coordinating Hajj affairs for Guinea-Bissau pilgrims, passed away recently in Saudi Arabia due to health complications. The initiative to host his family was carried out under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the IMCTC Council of Defense Ministers.
IMCTC extended full medical and administrative support during Djaneti’s illness, including overseeing repatriation and funeral arrangements. The coalition also offered condolences and assistance to his family during their stay in the Kingdom.
Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghidi, Secretary-General of IMCTC, highlighted the initiative as a reflection of the coalition’s values of solidarity and humanitarian support among member states.
The family expressed deep appreciation for the coalition’s support, acknowledging the compassion and respect shown by its leadership. The gesture is part of a broader IMCTC initiative to host several representatives and their families for Hajj, reinforcing bonds among member states and honoring their contributions.
