Makkah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has broadcast more than 900,000 awareness and guidance messages to pilgrims through 75 digital screens installed inside Al-Khayf Mosque in Mina, as part of its efforts to enhance religious awareness during the 1446H Hajj season.
The messages provided instructions on correctly performing Hajj rituals, proper etiquette in the Grand Mosque and other holy sites, and answers to frequently asked religious questions. They also included public health and safety tips, helping pilgrims navigate the holy sites in an organized and informed manner.
To ensure accessibility for the diverse group of pilgrims, the messages were delivered in multiple languages.
This initiative is part of the ministry’s broader awareness and media plan for Hajj, which aims to deliver high-quality guidance services, promote Islamic values, and support pilgrims in performing their rituals with ease. The use of modern technology reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to improving pilgrim services under the leadership's vision.
