Kidana Opens 70 New Hajj Charity Centers in Arafat, Muzdalifah

Arafat: In a significant move to enhance services for pilgrims during the Hajj 1446 season, Kidana Development Company has completed a large-scale project establishing 70 charitable distribution centers across Arafat and Muzdalifah.

The initiative, carried out in partnership with several national charitable organizations, seeks to streamline aid delivery, promote volunteer participation, and introduce modernized service methods tailored to pilgrims’ needs.

A central coordinating committee has been set up to supervise volunteer training, manage logistics, and ensure the efficient operation of the new distribution hubs.

The centers are manned by a dedicated team of 200 trained volunteers responsible for distributing water, meals, and essential supplies directly to pilgrims on site.

As part of the strategy to boost operational efficiency, the program includes 21 structured volunteer tracks, aiming to cut waiting times to less than 10 minutes. Organizers are targeting a 90% satisfaction rate among pilgrims and hope to reduce heat-related health issues by up to 30%.

Each center is expected to distribute between 60,000 and 90,000 water bottles and serve approximately 10,000 meals daily, significantly easing the physical demands of the pilgrimage and reinforcing the spirit of charitable giving during Hajj.
