Jerualem: Israeli fire has killed four Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and three in the occupied West Bank. According to Palestinian officials, 14 others were wounded in Gaza within the past 24 hours, despite an ongoing ceasefire with Hamas.
The attacks occurred in Gaza and the West Bank, particularly in Jenin. In Gaza, Israeli drone strikes killed three brothers in central Gaza and a woman in Rafah. Meanwhile, in Jenin, Israeli troops killed three Palestinians, including a 58-year-old woman. The Israeli military claims it targeted militants and destroyed vehicles carrying weapons.
Palestinian sources, including the Gaza Health Ministry and the Palestinian Health Ministry in the West Bank, reported these casualties.
The broader conflict stems from the war that began on October 7, 2023, when Hamas-led militants attacked southern Israel, killing approximately 1,200 people and abducting 251 others. Since then, Israel has launched a military campaign that has killed over 48,500 Palestinians and wounded more than 110,000, according to Palestinian authorities. Israel insists it has killed over 17,000 militants but has not provided evidence. The ceasefire negotiations remain tense, with Israel demanding the release of hostages and Hamas seeking broader peace terms, including an Israeli withdrawal.
