Ajit Doval Briefs PM Modi on India’s Air Strike in Pakistan

NEW DELHI: India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday to give him a full update on the recent air strike carried out by India in Pakistan. The military action, known as “Operation Sindoor,” is said to be a response to recent tensions between the two countries.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in New Delhi, where Doval informed the Prime Minister about how the operation was carried out, what targets were hit, and how Pakistan may respond. Sources say that Indian fighter jets launched precise attacks on selected sites across the border.

Ajit Doval shared intelligence reports, satellite images, and information gathered from surveillance to explain the impact of the operation. Prime Minister Modi was also briefed on the current situation along the border and how prepared India is in case of further conflict.

"Operation Sindoor" is among the most potent military acts undertaken by India in recent times. It exemplifies the seriousness of the government regarding the country's defense, especially after recent developments in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian government may not have come out to widely divulge the outcome of this recent operation, but it has termed this air attack as one that was needed for National security. The situation remains tense still, and the international community is urging both India and Pakistan to remain calm and avoid further conflict.

This meeting between Doval and Modi shows that the top Indian leadership is keenly watching the situation and preparing counter-strategies for ensuring the country's safety.
