Los Angeles: Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger has expressed interest in teaming up with his children for future film or television projects. The 77-year-old actor made the remarks during the Los Angeles premiere of FUBAR Season 2, where he appeared alongside his children—Patrick, Christina, Christopher, and Katherine—and his ex-wife, journalist and author Maria Shriver.
Speaking to reporters on the red carpet, Schwarzenegger was asked about the possibility of working with his kids on screen. He replied enthusiastically, “I wouldn’t mind doing that, yes. As long as we can entertain people.”
The veteran actor’s children have each carved their paths in entertainment and media. Patrick Schwarzenegger has acted in films and TV series, Katherine is a successful author, while Christina and Christopher have also explored various creative fields.
The remarks come just days after Schwarzenegger made headlines for his humorous reaction to a bold scene in HBO’s The White Lotus.
While speaking to Variety, he joked about a full-frontal scene in the show, recalling his early roles that featured nudity in classics like Conan the Barbarian and The Terminator. “I’m watching your show, and I’m watching your butt sticking out there,” he said. “And suddenly, I see the weenie... this is crazy.”
He laughed, “But then I reminded myself—I did the same thing back in the day. So don’t complain.”
Schwarzenegger’s openness to family collaborations highlights his enduring passion for storytelling and entertainment. This suggests that audiences might someday see the Schwarzenegger family sharing screen space.
