Bangladesh: A letter purportedly issued by the Cabinet Division for misrepresenting person-spelting to the swearing-in of just a few new advisers in the interim government has made rounds of social media lately despite the fact that it appears identical with official clearance for appointment and clients were confused by its immediate spread to different outlets.
However, the Chief Adviser's Press Wing was swift in denying the whole issue by confirming that the letter is totally fake. According to the statement released on Wednesday, the Press Wing declared that no such individuals are approved for swearing-in as advisers in the interim government and no such letter has been issued by the Cabinet Division.
The Press Wing emphasized that the suspected image of the letter of approval is false and urged the public not to spread such false information. They also warned that such false and mischievous disinformation may create unnecessary confusion and disturb touching perception in the understanding of public decisions made by officials.
Authorities have called people to vigilance on networks and social media not to let such a prattle spread any further and it made certain that only verified and official sources would be de facto trustworthy for the information. It's a reminder that one is to verify things before one's share-news and doxs-behold the digital ages, where misinformation can be strewn as fast as feverishly given.
