RIYADH: The General Directorate of Border Guards has urged beachgoers across the Kingdom to follow maritime safety guidelines, including avoiding swimming in unauthorized areas, supervising children, and taking necessary precautions.
The directorate highlighted its efforts to enhance safety by deploying additional maritime patrols and search and rescue teams, ensuring marine vessels and safety equipment are ready, and reminding the public to obtain necessary sailing permits.
The public is advised to comply with maritime regulations and to contact emergency services at 911 in Makkah and Eastern regions, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom.
