Gaza: The Israeli military has concluded its investigation into the killing of Palestinian medical personnel in Gaza, stating that it found “no evidence to support claims of execution.”
According to the military, the accusations are “blood libels and false” and suggest that their soldiers were wrongfully accused. The statement was released following mounting international concern and scrutiny.
However, this conclusion stands in stark contrast to multiple eyewitness accounts and footage that appeared to contradict the Israeli version of events. Initially, the Israeli army claimed the humanitarian convoy approached “suspiciously,” but that narrative shifted after a video surfaced online. The footage showed clearly marked ambulances, a fire truck, and a UN vehicle, all with visible emergency lights, moving in a coordinated, non-threatening manner.
Despite the military’s denial, human rights groups and medical organizations insist the evidence points to an execution-style attack. The incident adds to a growing list of reported violations amid the war in Gaza, intensifying calls for independent international investigations and accountability.
