Emirates Adds Extra Flights for Eid Al Fitr Rush

Dubai: Emirates has announced the addition of 17 extra flights to various destinations in the GCC and Middle East to accommodate the surge in travel demand during the Eid Al Fitr holidays. The additional flights will be operational from March 26 to April 6, 2025, covering destinations such as Amman, Jeddah, Dammam, and Kuwait with connections to Dubai.

Due to increased passenger demand during the Eid holiday season, Emirates is adjusting its flight schedules by adding more services to key destinations. The airline will introduce six flights to Amman, five flights between Dammam and Dubai, four flights from Jeddah, and two additional flights from Kuwait.

The information is based on an official Emirates statement, reported by Gulf News on March 24, 2025. More than 371,000 passengers are expected to travel with Emirates from across the Middle East during this period. These flights aim to provide greater flexibility for those traveling for Eid celebrations, family reunions, or leisure trips.

The expanded schedule also allows passengers to transit through Dubai to popular destinations such as Bangkok, Phuket, the UK, the US, South Africa, and major South Asian and North African cities like Mumbai, Karachi, and Cairo.

Eid Al Fitr is one of the busiest travel seasons in the Middle East, with a significant increase in passengers flying home or on vacation. Dubai is a key travel hub, and Emirates experiences high demand for flights during this period. The airline is strategically expanding its services to accommodate the growing number of travelers and enhance convenience for customers.
