Five Killed as Smuggled Oil Vehicles Collide in Washuk

Quetta: A tragic accident in Washuk district claimed the lives of five people on Friday when three vehicles, allegedly carrying smuggled oil, collided and burst into flames.

According to Levies officials, the incident occurred in the Basima Patak area. The collision resulted in a massive fire, trapping three drivers and two passengers inside the burning vehicles. Rescue efforts were hindered by the intense flames, leaving no chance for survivors.

Authorities cited overspeeding as the primary cause of the crash. Rescue teams later transported the charred bodies to a nearby hospital. The deceased were identified as residents of Mastung and Quetta.
