Juventus defeated Inter Milan 1-0 in an exciting Serie A match, depriving Inter the opportunity to take first place. Napoli, who now lead the Serie A table with 56 points, are two points ahead of Inter after their loss.
Both teams created opportunities during the action-packed Derby d'Italia. Mehdi Taremi's bicycle kick was saved, and Denzel Dumfries' drive went over the crossbar as Inter got off to a fast start. In response, Nico Gonzalez of Juventus made Yann Sommer make a stunning double save.
Both teams kept up their attacks in the second half, but Conceição broke the impasse, leaving the championship race in a tight race with 13 games left. Juventus now sits in fourth place in the league rankings after their victory.
