Gaza: Gaza’s Civil Defence has issued a heartbreaking message to the international community, saying that many wounded civilians are dying beneath the rubble of their homes after Israeli airstrikes—and they are powerless to save them
In a statement released on Telegram, Civil Defence responders described devastating scenes from Shujayea, Abasan, Rafah, and Deir el-Balah, where entire buildings collapsed without warning, trapping families inside. Despite hearing cries for help from beneath the debris, their crews could not act.
The organisation considering Israel for blocking the entry of heavy rescue machinery and medical equipment into the Strip, calling this an intentional act that worsens the suffering of civilians. They added that dozens of aid workers have already died trying to save others, yet the world remains silent.
This comes after widespread destruction across Gaza, where hospitals, schools, and shelters have been targeted, leaving hundreds of thousands of civilians with no access to medical care or emergency support.
With more than 50,000 people killed and rescue efforts severely limited, Gaza's Civil Defence says that unless the blockade is lifted immediately and equipment is allowed in, more innocent lives will be lost.
