Gaza: In the past 24 hours, at least 26 Palestinians have been killed and 60 wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to a statement released by Gaza’s Health Ministry on April 22, 2025. The ministry also revealed that many bodies remain trapped under rubble or left on roads, unreachable by ambulances and civil defense teams due to ongoing shelling and infrastructure damage.
The relentless bombardment has pushed the total death toll in Gaza to 51,266, with 116,991 others reported injured since the war began in October 2023. The situation has drastically worsened since Israel broke the latest ceasefire on March 18. In just over a month, 1,890 Palestinians have been killed and 4,950 wounded, reflecting a sharp escalation in violence.
As strikes continue to pound residential areas, hospitals are overwhelmed and emergency crews struggle to operate. With each day, the number of victims grows, and the humanitarian crisis deepens, leaving Gaza’s population in constant mourning and fear for survival.
