Doha: HEC Paris, the world’s top-ranked business school for Executive Education, has partnered with Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) to deliver Ascend, a bespoke leadership program designed to empower high-potential leaders from non-supervisory roles to director levels.
The program equips participants with a forward-thinking mindset through immersive experiences and masterclasses, fostering leadership capabilities to navigate complex business challenges and drive innovation.
EGA CEO Abdulnasser Bin Kalban emphasized, "Developing our people is a cornerstone of our global competitiveness. Ascend is designed to accelerate the growth of our top talent, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to thrive."
Led by Professor Shaheena Janjuha-Jivraj of HEC Paris, Doha, the program delivers high-impact strategies for managing organizational change. The recent module in Doha focused on leadership frameworks for handling disruption and implementing transformation strategies with confidence.
Participants also visited Microsoft’s Digital Center of Excellence in Doha, gaining insights into AI, digital transformation, and sustainability. The visit showcased Qatar’s first data center and Microsoft’s AI for Good initiative, which promotes responsible AI applications across industries.
The Ascend program consists of three modules: Innovation & Sustainability (Dubai, November 2024) – Sustainable business strategies, Leadership & Transformation (Doha, March 2025) – Change management frameworks and Strategic Decision-Making (Dubai, April 2025) – Business simulation on investment, marketing, and finance
