HONOR Showcases AI Innovation & Open Collaboration at MWC 2025

Barcelona: Global technology brand HONOR underscored its commitment to open collaboration and AI innovation during MWC Barcelona 2025. Participating in two key discussions, the Connect X Fireside Chat and the AI+ panel HONOR shared insights on the future of connected intelligence and the impact of its newly unveiled HONOR ALPHA PLAN.

At the forefront of the discussions was the critical need for open collaboration to navigate the challenges and opportunities of AI. The HONOR ALPHA PLAN aims to foster a co-created AI ecosystem that maximizes human potential and enables seamless integration across diverse technologies.

“As we move into the physical AI era, we must open industry boundaries and create a new paradigm for AI collaboration,” said James Li, CEO of HONOR. “This requires a unified effort to develop AI capabilities that seamlessly connect different devices, operating systems, and ecosystems.”

During the fireside chat, HONOR emphasized the transition from raw connectivity to intelligent ecosystems that anticipate and enhance user experiences. Examples included seamless smartphone integration with vehicles and homes, as well as AI-powered wearables delivering personalized health insights. These innovations, central to the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, highlight the company’s commitment to human-centric technology that drives productivity and societal transformation.

HONOR also stressed the importance of collaboration in setting industry-wide AI connectivity standards. By working closely with key technology leaders, HONOR is driving efforts to ensure interoperability and innovation across devices and platforms. As AI continues to evolve, HONOR advocates for a united approach in creating an open, intelligent ecosystem for the future.

During the AI+ panel, HONOR addressed the balance between on-device and cloud-based AI, showcasing advancements such as the world’s first GUI-based mobile AI agent, all-ecosystem exchange technology, and AiMAGE. These solutions demonstrate HONOR’s commitment to prioritizing user privacy through on-device processing while leveraging cloud computing for scalability and efficiency.

HONOR reinforced this stance by referencing its recently published Privacy Protection White Paper, outlining five core principles: data minimization, on-device protection of sensitive data, prioritization of on-device processing, encryption before cloud upload, and timely data deletion.

Visitors attending MWC Barcelona from March 3-6 can explore HONOR’s latest innovations at Stand 3H10 in Hall 3, Fira Gran Via, Barcelona. The booth features groundbreaking AI applications and smart connectivity solutions, demonstrating HONOR’s vision for an intelligent, seamlessly connected future.

HONOR remains steadfast in executing the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, working in open collaboration with industry partners to push the boundaries of AI technology and maximize human potential in the digital era.
