HVACR World Launches in Dubai to Drive Energy Efficiency in MEASA

Dubai: DMG Events has announced the launch of HVACR World in Dubai, an industry event designed to address the growing demand for energy-efficient solutions in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA). Endorsed by the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), the event is set to take place from 24 to 27 November 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event aims to bring together professionals, innovators, policymakers, and regulators to discuss smart cities, green buildings, and sustainability. HVACR World is positioned to capitalize on the region’s expanding construction, healthcare, logistics, and food and beverage sectors. The event will be co-located with Big 5 Global, a long-established construction event supported by the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, known for attracting over 85,000 participants and 2,800 exhibitors from more than 165 countries.

According to Expert Market Research, the HVACR industry is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.5% from $10.4 billion in 2023 to $18.4 billion by 2032. This growth is driven by rapid urbanization, climate change concerns, and an increasing focus on retrofit projects. With heating and cooling contributing to 40% of global energy-related carbon emissions, the need for energy-efficient and sustainable climate control solutions has never been greater.

Matt Denton, President of dmg events, highlighted that the MEASA region’s $9 trillion construction project pipeline presents significant opportunities for advanced, energy-efficient climate control technologies. He emphasized that HVACR World will serve as a premier platform connecting global industry leaders with high-growth markets, driving innovation and sustainability. Nabil Shahin, Managing Director of AHRI, added that with HVAC systems accounting for up to 70% of electricity use in GCC residential buildings, accelerating the adoption of energy-efficient solutions is essential.

HVACR World will feature dedicated content programs, live product demonstrations, technical workshops, and networking opportunities, all focused on promoting energy efficiency, smart HVACR systems, and regulatory developments. With its comprehensive agenda, the event is expected to play a central role in accelerating the region’s transition to next-generation air systems and supporting ambitious sustainability goals.
