IJFF’s 10th NRIs Meet in Hyderabad, Promotes Global Collaboration

Hyderabad: The International Journalists Fraternity Forum (IJFF) successfully organized the 10th NRIs Meet and Eid Milan celebration at the seminar hall of MS Education Academy, Masab Tank, Hyderabad. 

The event brought together journalists, NRIs, and dignitaries from various countries including Saudi Arabia, Australia, Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait.

The event was presided over by IJFF Chief Patron Aleem Khan, with Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation Chairman Mr. Obaidullah Kotwal, IJFF KSA Chapter President Dr. Mohammed Ashraf, and Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Dean and HOD of Journalism at MANUU, attending as chief guests.

In his keynote address, Mr. Kotwal praised the contributions of Indian expatriates, calling them valuable assets to the nation. 

He highlighted various financial assistance schemes and subsidy-backed loans available for returning NRIs and emphasized the role of media in spreading awareness about such government initiatives.

The gathering began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Faiz Ghauri and a Naat by Maulana Hafiz Riaz Ahmed Qadri Hassami.

IJFF Global President Dr. Mohammad Asif Ali delivered the opening remarks, outlining the forum’s mission to connect the Indian diaspora globally and promote collaboration among international journalists.

Joint Secretary Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Fardeen welcomed guests and provided an overview of the forum’s activities. 

Speakers, including Dr. Ashraf Ali and Prof. Fariyad, underscored the media’s power in shaping societies. Prof. Fariyad cited Al Jazeera’s influence as an example of journalism's global impact.

During the event, the forum announced the upcoming launch of its Australia Chapter. Felicitations were presented to senior journalist Mr. Ghauri, Amjad Hussain Zubair of Bazm-e-Ittehad, and Omar Masqati from Adelaide.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Aleem Khan and was attended by notable IJFF members from Saudi Arabia, including Treasurer Mohammad Ismail Hassan Amir, Basit Abu Maaz, and senior journalist KN Wasif.
