India celebrated its 75th Republic Day on January 26 in New Delhi with grand and vibrant celebrations. The highlight of the event was the annual parade along King's Avenue showcasing the country's military, cultural and rich history. The celebrations were kicked off by President Draupadi Murmu hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort as the chief guest.
The Republic Day parade features colourful floats from various states reflecting India's diverse culture, tradition and civilisation. Various shows including dance and music added to the atmosphere of the celebration. The parade also featured a magnificent display of the country’s defence capabilities by the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.
