New Delhi, Nov 28 – The Winter Session of India's Parliament was adjourned for the third straight day on Thursday, November 28, following opposition protests that forced the suspension of both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The disruptions began just after Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi took her oath as a new Member of Parliament for Wayanad, with the opposition raising slogans and demanding debates on critical issues, including the Adani bribery scandal, violence in Sambhal, and the ongoing Manipur crisis.

Despite attempts to restore order, the House was adjourned twice, once for an hour and again after noon, due to the continued protests. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju condemned the opposition, accusing the Congress party of obstructing parliamentary proceedings. The session will reconvene on Friday, November 29, at 11 AM, but the ongoing protests reflect the growing political tensions between the ruling government and opposition parties in the country.
