India's Operation Brahma: Aid for Myanmar Earthquake Victims

New Delhi: The Government of India has undertaken Operation Brahma to provide immediate relief assistance following the recent devastating earthquake that affected Myanmar. It continues to form a part of India's initiatives to provide humanitarian assistance and support to other neighbors in the region affected by natural disasters. The Ministry of External Affairs (ME) and honorable External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar are engaged in coordination for mobilizing relief assistance for the victims.

Under Operation Brahma, the prime relief supplies and relief commodities intended for Myanmar are medical supplies, food, and shelter. This initiative symbolizes India's commitment to regional cooperation and solidarity in times of crises.

The MEA and Dr. S. Jaishankar tweeted on India's continued support and rapid response to ensure relief is delivered timely to the government and citizens of Myanmar. He emphasized that this humanitarian effort is goodwill from India to support its neighbor in recovery.

On Twitter, the honorable minister assured that the Indian government was working closely with the Myanmar authorities for the swift delivery of relief to the affected areas.
