Jeddah: The Indonesian Consulate General held a successful event at Balai Nusantara, Wisma Konsul General RI Jeddah, combining spiritual activities for Ramadan with consular socialization for the Indonesian diaspora. About 300 Indonesian citizens, who registered online via the consulate’s social media, attended the event with great enthusiasm.
The program began with a communal iftar, followed by a spiritual study session that offered deeper insights into Islamic values during the holy month. Participants also joined in congregational tarawih prayers, enriching their religious experience.
Beyond the spiritual aspect, the event served as an important forum for providing practical consular information. Attendees received guidance on the norms and laws applicable in Saudi Arabia, helping them adapt and live harmoniously in the country.
The Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah hopes to continue hosting similar activities to strengthen community ties and support the Indonesian diaspora in their daily lives in Saudi Arabia.
