RIYADH: The Charitable Society for Orphans Care in Riyadh, also known as Insan, launched several programs in the first quarter of 2025 to support families through seasonal initiatives, monthly services, and direct aid.
A total of SR55.09 million ($14.66 million) was spent on various services and initiatives during the first quarter, covering basic, seasonal, and other essential needs.
Insan deposited SR27.6 million into families’ bank accounts for basic expenses such as cash, food, and clothing.
The society also allocated SR2.79 million for the Ramadan Basket Project, benefiting 9,251 families, and SR1.06 million for the Eid Gift Project, which assisted 5,304 families during Eid Al-Fitr.
The Zakat Al-Fitr project covered food needs for over 21,000 beneficiaries, with an expenditure of SR3.86 million.
Insan’s report highlighted key programs like Imaniyat, Pioneers of the Future, Be a Human Compass, Mualham, and Medad, which focused on development and empowerment, benefiting 2,853 individuals.
To further meet the needs of families, Insan provided 7,725 services, including emergency aid, social and health support, bill payments, housing, and more, totaling SR19.77 million in expenditures.
The society also conducted 1,469 family visits in the first quarter to assess needs and ensure satisfaction, which reached a 93% satisfaction rate.
Additionally, Insan processed 436 applications for training, education, employment, and project funding to empower beneficiaries.
