Jeddah: Passport to the World, an ongoing cultural event in Jeddah running until May 24, is offering visitors an immersive experience of Sudan’s rich cultural heritage.
Organized by the General Entertainment Authority, this event aims to highlight the cultural diversity of expatriate communities in Saudi Arabia while promoting coexistence through engaging cultural programming.
The event features live folk performances, traditional dances, and interactive workshops that showcase Sudanese customs, celebrations, and community rituals.
Visitors can also enjoy authentic Sudanese cuisine at a dedicated food corner serving traditional dishes, desserts, and drinks that reflect the country’s renowned hospitality.
Additionally, guests have the opportunity to wear traditional Sudanese clothing and learn about the significance of its regional colors and patterns.
Previously, the event has celebrated Filipino, Bangladeshi, and Indian cultures. The Sudanese showcase, marking the event’s conclusion, has attracted significant public interest and follows a well-received edition held earlier in Alkhobar.
