Los Angeles: Hollywood legend Kevin Costner has revealed he has no plans to retire, saying his future will continue to be guided by imagination and passion.
In a candid interview with People Magazine, the 70-year-old actor shared that slowing down is not on his radar. “I don’t even think about retiring,” he said, “because I’ll just move to the next thing that captures my imagination”.
Costner emphasised that his creative drive, not a schedule or boss, determines his next steps. Reflecting on his journey, the Horizon: An American Saga star said he feels fortunate and motivated by personal fulfilment and making an impact on others.
“I’ve enjoyed life and imagining what I can do, what I can be about, and what makes a difference,” he shared. Although he doesn’t have a rigid plan, Costner said his “eyes and enthusiasm are wide open.”
Known for decades of iconic roles in film and television, Costner’s statement confirms he’s still pursuing new challenges and won’t be stepping away from Hollywood anytime soon.
