Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has distributed 3,007 dry food bags in Sindh's Matli and Thatta districts and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Tank and Torghar districts. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this aid is aimed at supporting impoverished families in flood-affected areas of Sindh, benefiting a total of 20,444 individuals.
This assistance is part of KSRelief's Food Security Support Project for 2025, under which 147,500 dry food bags will be provided across Pakistan. Each food package weighs 95 kilograms and contains essential dry food items sufficient to sustain a family for one month.
KSRelief has reiterated its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Pakistan, with plans to continue its humanitarian efforts in the region.
Earlier, under the Winter Relief Package, KSRelief distributed aid across 14 districts, including Ghanche, Skardu, Nagar, Astore, Ghizer, Chitral, Swat, Upper Dir, Mansehra, Dera Ismail Khan, Dadu, Jamshoro, Badin, and Qambar Shahdadkot.
The Winter Relief Package included 50,000 blankets and 25,000 winter kits comprising men’s and women’s shawls, as well as warm clothing for adults and children.
