RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief continues its humanitarian efforts, distributing thousands of food baskets to those in need, according to the report.
As part of the Etaam Ramadan food project, aid was delivered to: Somalia’s Bay region: 1,200 food baskets, Bangladesh (Jhenaidah district): 200 baskets, Lebanon: 685 baskets, Syria (Daraa governorate): 600 baskets and Sudan (Khartoum): 1,100 baskets
Now in its fourth phase, the Etaam project will distribute over 390,000 food parcels across 27 countries, reaching 2.3 million people at a cost exceeding SR67m ($17.8m).
In Sudan, KSrelief aims to distribute 30,000 food baskets to support displaced people returning home.
