Expats residing in the UAE and other GCC countries can now easily apply for a Kuwait eVisa through the newly upgraded online platform, kuwaitvisa.moi.gov.kw. This revamped system, relaunched in December 2024 after a brief suspension for improvements, makes the visa application process faster and more efficient.
Eligibility:
Residents of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain with specific professional titles are eligible for the eVisa or visa on arrival. Eligible professions include doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, journalists, pilots, and several other professions.
Required Documents:
Passport (valid for at least six months)
Passport-sized photograph
Round-trip flight ticket
Accommodation proof
Emirates ID (for UAE residents)

Visit kuwaitvisa.moi.gov.kw
Choose your visa type and nationality
Sign up, provide your details, and verify your account
Upload the required documents
Review, confirm, and pay the visa fee online
Submit and track your application
Fees and Validity:
Tourist visa validity: 30 days from issuance, up to 90 days from entry
Visa fee: Approx. 3 KWD (Dh35.74)
Countries Eligible for Visa on Arrival:
Many nations, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and others, are eligible for a visa on arrival.
