Jeddah : In the presence of top experts and specialists in the retail sector, Loyalinks hosted its third event titled “Loyalty & Retail Evolution 2025: Creating Customer Love in Retail” on Tuesday evening at White Spaces – Randa Tower in Jeddah. The event is part of an initiative by Resal to create a dialogue platform that brings together loyalty professionals from various industries.
The event highlighted the importance of building long-term emotional connections between brands and customers—moving beyond the traditional reward-based model toward a holistic experience that strengthens loyalty and creates value for both the customer and the industry.
The gathering opened with a welcoming speech by Ms. Hanan Zugail, Head of Marketing Communications at Resal, who spoke about the event’s objectives and Resal’s role in supporting and advancing loyalty solutions through its products and diverse partnerships.
The event featured an inspiring presentation by Ahmed Islam, Senior CRM Specialist at Abyat, titled “Beyond Points: Building Emotional Loyalty in Retail.” He explored how brands can shift from offering rewards to establishing genuine emotional connections with customers through context, understanding, and experience.
This was followed by a success story shared by Rabya Tariq, Loyalty Programs Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Group. She presented a real-life example from the local market that demonstrated how well-executed loyalty programs can drive tangible results and elevate the customer experience.
The event concluded with an engaging panel discussion moderated by Hanan Zugail, featuring Adil Asif (Marketing Manager at Manuel), Rabya Tariq, and Ahmed Islam. The panelists discussed key challenges and trends in loyalty programs, emphasizing that innovation in the sector is no longer optional but essential, given the evolving behaviors and expectations of today’s customers.
