Prime Minister Modi called on the Indian industry to undertake positive action on 4 March 2025, in order to take maximum advantage of the opportunities arising out of the global supply chain. He appealed that the industries should not remain passive spectators, but engage themselves in the international manufacturing scenario.
PM Modi's expression of desire comes at a stage when the global supply chain itself is witnessing drastic changes, with many countries now looking to diversify and strengthen their manufacturing capabilities. He urged the Indian industry to direct focus towards production growth, efficiency, and innovation in different sectors to meet the increasingly rising demand available in the worldwide market.
The Prime Minister's statement also articulated India being a possible manufacturing hub with its abundant resources and skilled manpower, plus its growing technological capabilities, opportunity for making partner companies put their best foot forward and be cooperative to grow.
In the attempt of stressing the need to grab these opportunities, PM Modi endeavored to bring attention to the Indian manufacturing sector, which is a key aspect in the economic growth and future development of the country. He was hopeful of the fact that with the right steps, Indian industries could contribute to global supply chains and also help in gaining advantage for the Indian economy in the long run.
The appeal made by the Prime Minister is a vindication of the government's continuing attempts to create a national impetus for industrial growth and make India a greater player in the global economic arena.
