MADINAH: A new pavilion and an interactive digital platform were officially opened at the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah.
The inauguration took place under the patronage of Prince Salman bin Sultan, Governor of Madinah, and was attended by Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Supervisor-General of the museum.
The new pavilion offers a comprehensive presentation of Madinah, divided into more than 20 sections that highlight key historical, cultural, and social landmarks of the city during the time of Prophet Muhammad.
It includes a panoramic view of the Prophet's Chamber and a simulation of the construction of the Prophet's Mosque, as well as exhibits on Prophetic medicine and daily routines.
The newly launched digital platform, Ethaf, provides visitors with virtual tours of the Prophet’s biography and access to a library containing over 350 books and encyclopedias focused on the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah, available in multiple languages.
Additionally, the Governor visited a pavilion dedicated to showcasing the Kingdom’s efforts in supporting the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the Two Holy Mosques, and received a briefing on the ongoing work to promote the message of Islam.
