Makkah: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has provided over 10.8 million iftar meals to worshippers at the Two Holy Mosques during the first half of Ramadan.
Alongside the meals, 10.29 million date packets were distributed, coinciding with a rise in Umrah performers and visitors this season. The initiative follows strict health and regulatory standards to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of iftar services.
To enhance organization, the presidency introduced an online service before Ramadan, allowing individuals and charitable groups to request meal distribution inside the Grand Mosque.
