JEDDAH: Season two of PFL MENA kicks off this Friday at Onyx Arena in Jeddah, showcasing top-tier talent from across the Middle East and North Africa.
The main event featured a lightweight title clash between defending champion Mohsen Mohammadseifi of Iran and Egypt’s rising star Ahmed El-Sisy.
The lightweight division also includes standout bouts: Algeria’s Souhil Tahiri vs. Kuwait’s Abdullah Saleem, and Bahrain’s Abbas Khan vs. Moroccan striker Salah Eddine Hamli.
The featherweight lineup promises fireworks, with Jordan’s Abdelrahman Alhyasat on a five-fight winning streak taking on undefeated Moroccan Taha Bendaoud.
Other key matchups include Jordan’s Izzeddine Al-Derbani vs. Algeria’s Mohamed Amine, and Iraq’s Hussein Salem vs. Egypt’s Assem Ghanem.
The card also features exhibition bouts, notably Saudi Arabia’s Abdulaziz bin Moammar making his debut against Morocco’s Fares Hamdani in a catchweight contest.
In the flyweight category, Saudi favorite Malik Basahel faces Algeria’s Mountassir Boutouta.
Women’s MMA will be in the spotlight as undefeated Kuwaiti prospect Eman Almudhaf squares off against Brazil’s Shamara Braga in a highly anticipated featherweight battle.
