PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Assures Justice for Pahalgam Attack Victims

Prime Minister Condemns Attack, Pledges Retribution, and Calls for National Unity

Strong Condemnation of the Pahalgam Attack

New Delhi, 27th April : Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the 121st episode of his radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ by expressing his deep anguish over the April 22 terror strike in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He labelled the massacre “a cowardly act” orchestrated by those who cannot tolerate the return of peace to the Valley and vowed India’s resolve to combat terrorism would only grow stronger.

Assurance of Justice

“I once again assure the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack that they will get justice,” PM Modi declared, promising that every perpetrator and their backers would be identified, traced and punished “beyond their imagination.”

Call for National Unity

Highlighting the anger felt by “140 crore Indians,” the Prime Minister underscored that the country’s unity is its greatest weapon against terrorism. “In this war, our solidarity is our biggest strength. We must strengthen our resolve to face this challenge,” he urged.

NIA Probe Intensifies

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the case, deploying teams led by senior officers to meticulously interview eyewitnesses and reconstruct the attack’s sequence. Forensic experts are scouring entry and exit points at Baisaran meadow to expose the full conspiracy behind one of Kashmir’s deadliest assaults.

Diplomatic Measures

As part of a robust diplomatic response, the Government of India has suspended all visa services for Pakistani nationals with immediate effect. All existing visas stand revoked from April 27, 2025, while medical visas will remain valid only until April 29.

Global Solidarity

Messages of condolence and support poured in from world leaders. The United States, among others, stood firmly with India. “President Donald Trump called PM Modi to convey full support in bringing the perpetrators to justice,” the Ministry of External Affairs reported.
