Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held significant meetings with the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, and the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, on the sidelines of the International Conference on Girls’ Education in Muslim Communities being held in Islamabad from January 11-12.
During his meeting with Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Prime Minister commended the Muslim World League for its active support in co-hosting the international conference. Both leaders emphasized the importance of promoting sustainable collaboration to advocate for girls' education across Muslim countries. They expressed hope that the conference would deliver a strong global message about the Muslim world's commitment to advancing education for girls, a crucial aspect of societal progress.
In his discussion with Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the OIC's participation in the conference. He reaffirmed Pakistan's dedication to the Organization's shared priorities and pledged full support in enhancing the effectiveness of the OIC as a united voice for the Muslim Ummah.
