Lahore: The Punjab government has announced the launch of the Nighaban Ramazan Package, urging eligible citizens to register by February 15. The initiative aims to support deserving families during the holy month of Ramadan.
A key requirement for availing the package is registration with the Punjab Socioeconomic Registry (PSER). Citizens can conveniently apply from home through the official online portal at pser.punjab.gov.pk.
Presiding over a meeting on Friday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of transparency in the distribution process. She directed officials to ensure that beneficiaries receive the package with dignity and without hassle.
“The Nighaban Ramazan Package is a right of the poor and a duty of the government,” the chief minister stated. “People should be able to access their entitlement respectfully, without standing in long queues.”
The government aims to provide much-needed relief to vulnerable families, with officials working to ensure a smooth and efficient distribution system.
