Abu Dhabi: The Authority of Social Contribution Ma’an, in partnership with PureHealth and its subsidiary SEHA, has inaugurated the SEHA Abu Dhabi Dialysis Centre, enhancing access to essential kidney care for Abu Dhabi residents.
Aligned with the UAE’s Year of Community, the centre provides free dialysis treatment, ensuring improved health outcomes for individuals with kidney failure. Ma’an will allocate community contributions to support the centre under its ‘From The Community To The Community’ initiative, reinforcing collective social impact.
H.E. Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri, Director General of Ma’an, expressed gratitude for community support, emphasizing the centre’s role in strengthening social well-being. Saeed Jaber Al Kuwaiti, Group CEO of SEHA, highlighted SEHA’s commitment to world-class healthcare and accessibility, made possible through collaboration with Ma’an and PureHealth.
Located on Zayed The First Street, the facility will initially serve 112 patients, with plans to expand to accommodate 56 more patients and introduce peritoneal dialysis. Staffed by SEHA Kidney Care experts, the centre features advanced hemodiafiltration technology integrated with electronic medical records for real-time monitoring and improved patient care.
The centre also fosters community engagement, with contributions from artists who created murals to enhance the healing environment. SEHA’s initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s vision for social impact and sustainable development, reinforcing healthcare accessibility and innovation.
