Riyadh Land Reforms: RCRC Launches E-Platform, Bans Middlemen

RIYADH: The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has urged the public to avoid unauthorized individuals or groups offering help with land use applications in the capital.

This warning comes as the RCRC begins implementing a royal directive from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman aimed at promoting balance in Riyadh’s real estate sector, according to the report.

The Commission announced the development of a dedicated electronic platform that will allow citizens to submit land use applications directly without the need for intermediaries.

RCRC emphasized that any messages or claims about third-party services facilitating applications are false and should be ignored.

Citizens are advised to rely solely on official sources for accurate information and remain vigilant against fraudulent schemes.

As part of broader reforms, the Crown Prince previously approved lifting restrictions on land transactions and development in northern Riyadh, following a study by the RCRC and the Council of Economic and Development Affairs.
