RIYADH: Saudi Arabia will host the 2025 Federation of International Polo (FIP) Arena World Polo Championship Asia qualifiers final at Nofa Equestrian Resort, located west of Riyadh, from May 8-9, 2025.
The event featured a two-legged playoff between Pakistan and Iran, with the winner securing a spot in the 2025 FIP Arena World Polo Championship in the United States.
Saudi Polo Federation CEO Faisal bin Duwaiyes highlighted that this is the first time Saudi Arabia will host the Asian final, reflecting the Kingdom's strong track record in hosting international sporting events.
He also noted that preparations for the event were underway well in advance, in collaboration with the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee and the Ministry of Sport.
Bin Duwaiyes expressed excitement about the competition and welcomed the participating teams, hoping for an exciting and competitive display that highlights the growth of polo in Asia.
