Riyadh: The King Salman Science Oasis hosted a distinguished delegation from the Global Research Council.
This high-level group, comprising leaders and experts in research, development, and innovation, visited the Oasis during the council’s 13th annual meeting, which took place for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region from May 18 to 22, 2025.
The visit featured an interactive session designed to ignite scientific curiosity and promote innovation among the next generation of researchers.
During their tour, the delegation was introduced to the Oasis’s flagship initiatives and programs, all of which are dedicated to nurturing a culture of innovation and advancing scientific research in Saudi Arabia.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the visitors commended the Kingdom’s robust investment in human capital and knowledge, which aligns closely with the ambitious objectives of Vision 2030.
The successful hosting of the Global Research Council’s annual meeting not only underscored Saudi Arabia’s commitment to research and development but also highlighted its growing influence as a regional and global leader in innovation.
