RIYADH: The Sports Boulevard project in Riyadh has become a premier destination for sports and entertainment, promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing quality of life, especially during Ramadan.
Supervised by the Sports Boulevard Foundation, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the project aligns with Vision 2030’s goal of transforming Riyadh into a vibrant and active city. It was launched on March 19, 2019, under the directive of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Stretching 135 kilometers, the linear park connects western and eastern Riyadh, featuring dedicated paths for walking, running, and cycling, alongside integrated sports and leisure facilities.
During Ramadan, the Sports Boulevard has become a favored spot for residents and visitors to exercise and enjoy the outdoors after iftar. It hosts various activities, including cycling and running races, as well as sports and entertainment events that foster a culture of fitness within the community.
As development progresses, the Sports Boulevard is set to become a year-round hub, seamlessly blending sports, entertainment, and nature to meet the aspirations of Riyadh’s growing population and visitors.
