Sam Pitroda, an important figure of Indian politics, came out recently about news reports that say he is mixed up in bribery and land stuff in India.

On Thursday, he used social media to strongly deny the claims by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. He said loud and clear that he doesn’t own any land or properties in India and never got paid while working for the Indian government.

Sam Pitroda, former advisor for Prime Ministers Rajiv Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, officially denied owning lands or stocks anywhere in India. He called all bribery claims false without proof. In his message, he mentioned that over 83 years of life he has neither accepted nor given bribes ever; also pointed out that his work with the government was not paid at all.

The statement came after Union Minister Pralhad Joshi ,a leader of BJP, accused him of doing “anti-India activities” and illegally having a lease for some land in Yelahanka’s forest area Bengaluru-wise. These stories were told on Wednesday which made Pitroda need to set things straight via social media.
