MANAMA: Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa met with Saudi Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan at Al-Sakhir Palace on Sunday.
The meeting took place during Al-Bunyan’s visit to sign an agreement for the completion of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City, according to the report
The medical city project, implemented by the Arabian Gulf University, represents a significant collaboration between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in medical education and healthcare infrastructure.
During the meeting, Al-Bunyan conveyed greetings and best wishes from Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Bahrain.
He also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding relationship with Bahrain, especially in the education sector.
King Hamad welcomed the Saudi minister and reciprocated the greetings.
He expressed appreciation for the strong bilateral ties and noted his satisfaction with the progress of joint projects, particularly King Abdullah Medical City, which he said reflected the depth of cooperation between the two countries.
