Saudi Arabia Chairs Parliamentary Talks in Algeria

RIYADH: The 46th meeting of the Association of Secretaries-General of Arab Parliaments was held in Algeria’s capital, Algiers, according to the report.

The meeting was chaired by Mohammed Al-Mutairi, Secretary-General of the Saudi Shoura Council and chairman of the association, with the participation of heads of Arab councils and parliaments.

The discussions centered on enhancing the technical and administrative skills of employees. Participants shared best practices in human resource development, focusing on skill improvement and adequate training for legislative staff.

The meeting took place alongside the 38th Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in Algiers, where topics related to Arab cooperation and strengthening joint action were addressed.

Founded on April 3, 1995, the association aims to foster cooperation between Arab and international councils and parliaments.
