RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing military escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly recent attacks on shelters housing displaced civilians in Gaza.
In an official statement, the Kingdom denounced the strike on Dar Al-Arqam School in Gaza, where dozens of displaced individuals were killed. It also criticized the destruction of a warehouse operated by the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage in the Morag area, east of Rafah. The facility reportedly stored medical supplies intended for patients and the wounded in Gaza.
The ministry emphasized that the lack of effective international accountability has allowed Israeli forces to continue violating international law and humanitarian principles. It warned that this continued impunity is fueling further violence and endangering both regional and global stability.
Saudi Arabia urged members of the UN Security Council to take decisive action to end what it described as a tragedy endured by the Palestinian people.
