Saudi Arabia has played a pivotal role in strengthening cybersecurity across the Arab region, with Majid Al-Mazid, the governor of the nation’s National Cybersecurity Authority, cinema the council of Arab cybersecurity ministers on Monday.
The unprecedented event gathered the representatives of the Arab League’s member states’ senior officials and cybersecurity ministers and Secretary-General AAhmed Aboul Gheit. The meeting effectively paves the way for the begin of positive regional relations and the protection of interests in this technological period.
In his opening remarks, Majid Al-Mazid emphasized the council’s critical mission:
